A while in Brazil.. still haven't seen a beach yet

It has been a while, sorry to keep you guys short on info, but I was busy ;)
I'm going through my photos to get an idea of what the hell I did down here, cause it's been a lot. First of all I have build great relationships with some crazy people over here. Locals (bartenders) and a great bunch of international students.
So what did I do? We jumped in cabs and discovered the ibirapuera Park, where Sun, Açaí, Skateboards and Bikes are flying around the ears ;)
We had great japanese food in Liberdade, the Japanese neighborhood here in SP. Sushi here is of the highest quality, like the sake.
Cayle came by from Maastricht to see his beautiful girl Lhias and me. He introduced me to his wonderful Brazilian Family and enjoyed a great brazilian style BBQ and had a quick jump in the pool.
I forwarded my trip to a club with two crazy girls. A great night with Brazailian music, steps and hips. Booty booty.
After we forgot the night, the three of us headed for Jardim Botanica, which is a great way to escape the city for a couple of hours. My first experience with a junglish forest. I was impressed.
And there was a first FGV university party, with folks too young, but music pretty good and big and fancy, we definitively enjoyed. More, because we met more of us there and started to create a group feeling.
We headed for parks and have been chilling ever since. We had Feijoada a typical national stew, tasty and filling. It basically consists of rice, beans, greens and all kinds of parts of pork. Some parts are tasty, some parts are not.
And yesterday I had my first volleybal training in years. And it shows...
However, just as my Portugese keeps on improving, so will my volleyball skills.
Never fail, always get back up.
I completely forgot the random techno rave at av Paulista before we headed for the Jardim Botnica, it's in here with a little video.
Sunday we'll be finally heading for the beach, and tonight we're making Caipirinha. Cheers and Love to you all x

Hoi Jeroen! Dat klinkt supergaaf allemaal, je gaat van het ene leuke naar het andere, wij genieten met je mee via jouw verhalen!
Ik heb vandaag in de sneeuw gewandeld, en hachee en stamppot gehaald, Daan ligt verkouden op de bank, schaatsen te kijken. Ik ga nog de cd kast uitmesten en that's that. Enjoy!
